Hello Akins!

I am so thrilled to be joining the Akins Eagles team this year. I’ll be teaching English I, English II, and Reading I in the Arts and Humanities Academy, but even if you’re not in my class I will be happy to help you out anyway that I can. Please feel free to look around this website to find out more about my classes, answers to questions you might have, as well as where I come from. You’ll find my tutoring hours and contact info. at the bottom of the page.  Subscribe if you’d like to be updated about new posts with info. regarding assignments, tests, and cool stuff going on around campus as well as find out about downloadable copies of notes and activities we do in class. Adieu Bailey Middle School!

Thanks to all at Bailey for the fantastic experiences I was honored to be part of these past seven years! I learned so much from the staff and especially the students who blew my mind everyday.  I will miss being at Bailey quite a lot.

That said, I’m excited for my next adventure: teaching at the wonderful Akins High School. Please come visit me if you get the chance, and don’t hesitate to e-mail me (my address has not changed: abromber@austinisd.org) to say hello or with any reading or writing questions.
